Gnostic Glossary: Dictionaries

There are two Edens: one above (Daath) and one below (Yesod).

עדן Eden means “bliss.” So when you speak of Daath or Yesod, the Garden of Eden, you are talking about the sexual force of Binah, Jehovah Elohim.

עליא Elia, meaning, “go up, ascend, climb; rise; grow; flourish in our head.

Assiah [עשה] means make, because the world of Assiah relates to the world of action and matter.
