Adultery

Adultery means “to mix the forces.” As men we need the female polarity, and the females need the male polarity. In that mixture God is working, as fire. But if we put in that body another fire, then we are adulterating the essence of our own particular God, Love.

Alchemy

Alchemy is a compound word.  The first part is “Al”, which is related to the Arabic word for God, Allah or Spirit and that, of course, is closely related to the Hebrew term “El” which means God.  “Chem” is derived from a Greek word “kimia” which means “to fuse or caste a metal.”  Alchemy means “to fuse our metal with God”.  The most important metal that we have within is Mercury, the symbol of sexual energy.

Apostasy

Apostasy, in a religious context, refers to the abandonment or rejection of one’s religion or faith. It can also be used more generally to describe the abandonment of a cause, principle, or loyalty.

Casuistry

The use of clever but unsound reasoning, especially in relation to moral questions; sophistry.
