Hei

The letter Hei ה is the fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Remarkably, the letter Hei of the Hebrew alphabet—the sigh, the H—is spelled with two Hebrew letters. Indeed, in order to spell Hei, we have to write the letter Aleph next to the letter Hei. The spelling of Hei (הא) hides a very profound and significant element that we must understand.

The letter Hei, which represents the breath, is the first sound that any baby emits when is born; namely, AAAAAHHHHH (הא); observe that behind Aleph, the AAAAA sound, is the Hei, the HHHHHH, the breath. This is because the baby first has to breathe the air in order to emit the sound of the “A.” The breath, the “H,” enters the lungs and thereafter the sound of the A emerges from his lungs. Thus (אה) AAAHHH is the first sound and the breath of life. “AH” together form the sound of the wind. This is very important to understand because many books state that in the beginning was the word.
