(Tibetan; Sanskrit: antarabhava) Literally, “between.” Six transitional states of consciousness: vigil, dream, meditation, death, reality, rebirth, that can be utilized for spiritual comprehension. These are detailed in “The Great Book of Natural Liberation through Understanding in the Between.” See Book of the Dead, below.
Barhishad
A class of the “lunar” Pitris or “Ancestors”, Fathers, who are believed in popular superstition to have kept up in their past incarnations the household sacred flame and made fire-offerings. Esoterically the Pitris who evolved their shadows or chhayas to make therewith the first man. (See Secret Doctrine, Vol. II.)
