Xolotl

The  Aztec god Xolotl is equivalent to the Greek god Prometheus and the Christian god Lucifer.

Xolotl — the living shadow of Quetzalcoatl, Prometheus-Lucifer — is the bearer of light, the dawn star, the living symbol of our headstone, the cornerstone, the Philosophical Stone, within which is the key of all powers.

Lucifer-Xolotl, sometimes taking the aspect of the goat of Mendez, symbolizes sexual potency.

Clearly, Xolotl-Lucifer-Prometheus is the double of Quetzalcoatl, the prince of the light and darkness who has absolute power over heaven, Earth, and the infernos.

Unquestionably, the divine Daemon is the reflection of God within us, here and now, and can confer upon us the power, wisdom, and divine equality. Eritis sicut dei. “Ye shall be as gods.”

The Philosophical Stone, Lucifer-Xolotl lies at the very depths of our sexual organs and has to reconcile the opposites, “coincidentia oppositorum,” and the enemy brothers.

The living and philosophical fire of the ancient medieval alchemists lies dormant in the depths of our seminal system and in mystical concealment only awaits the moment of its awakening.

INRI: Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra (“The fire renews nature incessantly”). In necis Renascor Integer (“In death to be reborn intact and pure”).

Saint Thomas said, “The highest, the most perfect of angels, the selected angel of God.”

Dante wrote, “The most noble of all creatures and the sum of all creatures.”

Undoubtedly, Xolotl-Lucifer is not by any means a foreign agent, separate from our psyche. On the contrary, he is indeed the shadow of our divine Being within our “intimate particular depths.”

It is written with golden words in the book of life that certain terribly divine golden signs gloriously glow in the claw of the right leg of the Lucifer-Nahuatl.

Xolotl-Lucifer-Prometheus is the psychological trainer in the gymnasium of practical life.

Vain beating, rebutting, flapping, of certain confraternities that spread here, there, and everywhere, are obstinate defamatory instillments against the Solar Gnostic Chnouphis, the Christus Agathodaemon, the serpent of Genesis, the Lucifer Nahuatl, the resplendent dragon of wisdom.

Xolotl-Lucifer is disliked, despised, by those boorish “models of wisdom” that repudiate the Spirit that vivifies, and have interpreted the allegory of the war in heaven and the fight of Michael against the dragon literally, without comprehending its deep significance:

It is a crusade, a celestial affray that unquestionably must occur in the living depths of our consciousness, a heroic struggle against the animal passions that we carry within, personified by the myself, the self-will.

Undoubtedly, our profound interior real Being has to kill or fail. In the first case, he obviously becomes the killer of the dragon by the fact of having emerged victoriously from all the temptations placed by the latter.

Xolotl-Lucifer as tutor, educator, mentor, becomes indeed unusual, outstanding, extraordinary.

In the Luciferic temptation lies an inimitable didactic, a portentous pedagogy, an astounding attraction, an unmistakable incentive, hidden instigation with secret divine purposes, seduction, fascination.

From all of this we can infer that in our deepest intimacies we can and must fight against the dragon and his hosts of darkness (our psychological defects), if what we truly want is to become “children of wisdom” and “immortal gods”…

Bel and the dragon, Quetzalcoatl and Xolotl, Apollo and Python, Krishna and Kaliya, Osiris and Typhoon, Michael and the red dragon, Saint George and his dragon, always represent within each one of us our particular Divine Logos and his double, projected within our psyche for our own good.

Xolotl, the shadow or double of Quetzalcoatl, the Mexican Christ, precipitating himself from the empyrean downwards into our own atomic infernos, becomes extraordinary, wonderful.

Xolotl means “dog” as well as “twin.” It is not irrelevant to remember in this chapter that Father Sahagún stated that the dog is the symbol of the fire of celestial origin.

The sexual fire, the dog, the erotic instinct, 1

Lucifer Nahuatl, is that extraordinary and marvelous agent that can transform us radically.

The dog guides the knight, leading him along the narrow path that goes from darkness to light, from death to immortality.

It is urgent to take Xolotl-Cerberus out of the abode of Pluto, outstanding canine of terror that with its terrifying bark, its three flat heads and neck surrounded by snakes, infuses the defunct ones with fear.

The three-headed Xolotl-Cerberus pulls the leash of his master, leading him safe and sound on the steep path that leads to final liberation.

As an archetype of the penitent, and with the belt of chastity, Xolotl-Lucifer converted into anchorite makes light in the darkness and clarifies the entirety of Christic esotericism.

Xolotl-Lucifer in possession of the remains that will have to resurrect indicates the need to die in order to be.
